none of those songs are cross overs. i think too many artists try to replicate a trini sound, which is why the songs don't last. 40 Days 40 Nights is one of my favorite songs. and nothing about it is crossover.
New Age artists are mixing genres more and more. It started with Machel, Pitbull, and Lil Jon. You hear more of the younger caribbean artists going with a pop sound rather than the traditional soca sound.

I think Problem Child is trying to find his way as far as what type of Soca artist he will be. Very few artists have the ability to do Power and Groovy music. I think he's trying to be one of those artist but the music is just not making the grade.
