IslandMix is fully aware of the need to promote the culture of the Caribbean to the world. The aim of this blog will be to further advance the recognition of the Caribbean culture by means of the different sporting events, athletes, sports enthusiasts and sporting related topics related to the Caribbean Region.

The sporting culture found in the Caribbean is different to what is found in other parts of the world. Our people are much more engaged and involved in the sporting arena. It is this engagement and involvement I wish to bring to “IslandMixers” through the various articles and blogs.

What to expect? Be prepared for a wealth of information, focusing on controversial and topical issues. Expect to be exposed to the young and upcoming talented athletes of the Caribbean. As well as the great achievers who have represented the region in the past.  Let us “stir the pot” on whatever it may be, London Olympics 2012, 2014 World Cup Qualifiers or the West Indies tour of England. There is simply nothing that cannot be said in our World of Sports.
