Jamaica Boy & Girls Champs 2016 Title Retained By Calabar & Edwin Allen High

At the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Champs held at the National Stadium in Kingston, secondary schools Edwin Allen and Calabar on Saturday successfully defended their titles.

The Michael Dyke-coached Edwin Allen team amassed 329 points, to win their third consecutive title and fourth overall.

They won ahead of Hydel, who amassed 263 points, with St Jago in third place on 241.50, Holmwood Technical in fourth place on 184, and Vere Technical rounding out the top five with 139 points.

On the boys’s side, Calabar ended with 287.50 to win their fifth consecutive title and 26th lien overall.

Kingston College were second with 250 points, with Jamaica College third on 227.50 points. St Jago High (175) and St Elizabeth Technical High School (100) completed the top five.
