still doesn't make him best at anything! Name a single stat category that he ever led the league in? Led the team in while Jordan was there (considering those were his peak years)

Did you play hoops?
you always mentioning your height....lol
Yeah, but I'm done balling at this age, lol.

Off the top of my head my all-defense teams would be (based more on my favorites mind you):

1st team
G- Gary Payton (Best Ever)
G - Michael Jordan (maybe not always motivated on the defensive end, but a BEAST when he was)
F - Michael Cooper (8 nba all defensive teams)
F - Kevin Garnett (9 nba all defensive teams)
C - Hakeem Olajuwon ( Also the best ever lol)

2nd Team
G - John Stockton (Grimey as fuk on the offensive end but is the nba steals leader)
G - Kobe Bryant (just cause Im a Lakers fan, NOT a big Kobe fan)
F - Scottie Pippen (same expl. as Jordan more or less)
F - Alonzo Mourning (too bad his career was cut short)
C - Dikembe Mutumbo (an underachiever, but still a force to be reckoned with)
Now imo you showing some Laker bias, lol. Michael Cooper, I'd have to take off. I know he covered for Magic's no 'D ass, but nah. I can't put him above Bowen or Pippen at SF.

John Stockton was not a great man 2 man shutdown defender, he couldn't slow anyone down, he'd sneak over on a double jump into a passing lane n get a lot of his steals. But you couldn't count on him to shut someone down. He got lit up aplenty.

1st team: Payton, Jordan, Pippen, Duncan, Olajuwon.

2nd team: Alvin Robertson (he was flat out nasty!), Joe Dumars Bruce Bowen, Kevin Garnett, David Robinson.

Apparently you cant read can you?

"Led the team in while Jordan was there (considering those were his peak years)"

Basically what it amounts to is a better argument could be made for Jordan being the best bulls defender ever considering Scottie couldn't lead with Jordan active on the team.

How many seasons was he the steals leader?

Wasn't that the same series his whiny behind sulked on the bench refusing to come on when a play wasn't called for him, which ended up being the right call to make?
no that was a christmas day game.....

that game you spoke about wasn't a whiney game and i supported his actions fully. Phil drew up a play that ask for him to be a dummy on the imbounds and he said he wasn't going to defer to anyone that is his team.... that not whinning...

my bad he never lead the league in anything i guess that proves your point. NNow you are on to bigger things maybe you should point that out to the olympic committee, the hall of fame committee or wait better yet the selection committee for the 50 greatest players of all time.

Nah bai.

When Olajuwon was walloping San Antonio's ass in '95, Rodman was scurrying to book a ticket outta town during the series, lol.

I could never forgive him for that and that drops him a notch for me. Of course people only want to talk of his titles in Detroit and Chicago and sweep this part of his career under the carpet.

Banna stay silent curl up like crekateck and took his licks.

I think Rodman would make a good coach's assistant.
He had a great basketball mind.
But too many on court and off court antics to really be considered consistently the best. He'd probably be on my 3rd team for all defense. For his mastery of the psychological aspects of the game, if nothing else.

Man that was a game 3 in the 94 playoffs, lol. Pippen was never a great shooter or that great at creating his own shot in the halfcourt to begin with, so I could've seen the reasoning with the play.

You're obviously a Bulls/Pippen/MJ fan at heart to support that. When it ended up working. I done wit dis.

Well the best offensive player of all time said he was the toughest defender he ever played against....

antics don't get confuse by them...
The NBA would never acknowledge his presence and dominance...

Well I don't mean the antics, just the fact that he quit on his team during the playoffs. You can't be a quitter when things don't go right and be the best ever imho if you abandon a team during a playoffs.

And if I talking about a power forward. Antics or no antics, no way I could see a reason for him over Duncan defensively (or Garnett).

I just can't.
