good program...only problem is, the black folk who needed to hear the message probably dont even watch meet the press, nor will they buy the book. The message needs to hit the hood by people in the hood.

So should Cosby and other like-minded individuals go talk to those in da hood?
Just wondering because for years so much of us talking bout black this and dat not doing this and that and they so this and that. Like minded people talking but the ones who hurting themselves, and the rest of us, not included in the discussion. How will change occur? How will it start?

in my opinion, things will only get worse. the hood will continue to grow. wutless people will always be wutless no matter what race they are. eventually, wutless people will outnumber decent people.

Caught the last 1/2 hour of it after i came in from church. he talked how parents need to get more involved in the lives of their kids...at the end of the show, he talked about the effect of absent fathers/male figures in the lives of kids...and how children need to have adult figures in their lives who are actively involved with them. Long-winded as always.., but made good points...could tell that Tim Russert enjoyed the interview....
