Tikreyol I have a question about Haiti because I have a little thought about the way countries are portrayed but idk if it's valid entirely and I want to start a thread.

Do you think things improved or got worse after the Duvaliers? Despite them I always tend to think of things in Haiti as improving. But idk if that's because i'm stereotyping developing nations (including my own) as sort of have no where to go but up.

Things definitely got worse! However there are many that said Haiti was better under the Duvaliers. But that also depends where on the social latter you were in Haiti. Make a thread though and we'll talk about it.
